    Who am I? I am a work at home mom of 2, wife to 1.

    I believe in family, friends and want everyone I care about to be truly happy.

    I love 80's music. In fact I'm still stuck there!
    I want my kids to be successful and use their talents in their lives.

Prom

What do you do when your daughter tells you two weeks before prom that she's going and she needs YOU to find her a dress? First, you panic. Then you start scouring the internet for a dress.

Normal people might head to the store to look, but not me. I have a real aversion to shopping with my daughter. She whines a lot. She doesn't like what I like. She just isn't girly at all.

So she tells ME that I can pick out her prom dress. I'm sure to a lot of moms, that would be pure heaven. You don't have to deal with her wanting a $500 dress...but in a way, I also feel cheated because we didn't get to go shopping for the dress together...

I sure hope she doesn't feel this way about her wedding gown!

I found her dress. We looked online and found a really pretty, classic dress for her. Luckily, her grandmother is good at alterations and was able to do a few, and then it looked perfect on her.

I must say, I'm good...
